Dukno Yoon creates rings, bracelets, and other devices that mimic the movements of birds by harnessing the motion caused by the flick of the wrist or flexing of fingers.

W…why?

frezned:

I just watched Wizard People, Dear Readers and oh my god I laughed so hard I got a headache.
I can’t believe I’ve moved in such close proximity to so many Harry Potter fans for so long without hearing about this.
Without hearing about it constantly.
Seriously if you’re an HP fan and you haven’t seen Wizard People then it’s like… imperative that you do. That shit is hilarious.
(there’s an mp3 download that you play along with the muted Philosopher’s Stone DVD, but I managed to find a file with the audio and the video already mixed into one file on the usual sites pretty easily)

“I put you in a situation where you feel the physicality of light. This is an art that people try to touch - but there’s nothing there to touch. There is, in fact, no object; there is no image, nor any place of focus. What are you then looking at? Well, I’m hoping that you then have the self-reflexive act of looking at your looking, so that you’re actually seeing yourself see to some degree, so that it actually does reveal something about your seeing as opposed to being a journal of my seeing.”

James Turrell. I love this man.
